Locate the Register of Deeds in your county and determine whether you can submit an online application or have to plan to go in. You’ll need to provide a your SSN and ID.

The marriage license expires after 60 days so plan accordingly! Your wedding must be performed by an ordained officiant.

Finally, after your wedding ceremony, you and your new spouse, a witness, and your officiant need to sign the license and return the license to the Register of Deeds within 10 days.
