Splurge or Save: Wedding Décor Tips

With some extra time on our hands, now is the best time to research those décor items you have been debating purchasing. Pinterest inspiration can be a great way to get started, but it is important to keep in mind your online inspiration could be a budget breaker. We have recently talked about Wedding Décor Trends and DIY Wedding Projects, but this week we want to touch on what is truly worth splurging on and where you should pinch your pennies.

Splurge: Guest table and sweetheart table centerpieces and tea light candles will be frequently photographed and can be reused for a day after brunch. We also recommend spending a little extra on uniform signage throughout your event such as a welcome sign, seating chart, and custom cocktails that will add a personalized and polished touch.

Save: Choose ceremony décor that can be repurposed into reception décor rather than doubling up. This will save you money and allow for a seamless transition of items after the ceremony. To save on table décor, nix the chargers that will be removed from the table after the first course.

There are so many décor items that go into a wedding or event it can be hard to choose! If you’re unsure what pieces you can go without and what will add a luxurious touch to your big day, chat with your wedding planner!
